How to hide and unhide any file completely in windows pc

Hello readers, here we are going to discuss “how to hide and unhide any file completely in your windows pc.” Many of us might be thinking of protecting some of their personal data from being seen or read by a second person, but are unable to hide those files or photos or anything else. If you are one among them then this simple trick can help you in doing so.

To hide any file completely you have to follow these simple steps.

Step-1

1: Let ‘games’ be a file that is present in the D drive which you want to hide permanently.

       Now open command prompt in your windows pc or just press windows+r followed by typing cmd and then hit enter. Now your command prompt is opened.

Step-2

2: There type the following code as in the screen shot.

Attrib +s +h D:\games

Step-3

3: After this that games folder will be vanished. This hidden folder can neither  be found by searching nor with the help of any other software.

Again if you want to unhide those hidden files or folders then open the command prompt and type-

Attrib –s –h D:\games

NOTE-You can replace the term ‘games’ (without cotes) here by the folder name you want to hide. Also you can replace the letter D by the drive name in which your concerned files are there.
